The Rhinovolution

Purpose of the Rhinovolution

The Rhinovolution is a lifelong path of Christian formation designed to raise up Warriors in Christ, especially the youth.

It grows from a spiritual mandate received in April 1995: Raise up Warriors in Christ, especially the youth.

We call this journey The Way of the Rhino—growing in faith, character, wisdom, discipline, strength, and servant leadership as we follow King Jesus.

Our aim is to form people who can serve God and others with their whole selves—body, mind, spirit, character, and leadership.

The Five Phases

Growth unfolds through five phases of increasing responsibility:

Shepherd → Armor Bearer → Warrior in Christ → Servant Leader → Kingdom Champion

The journey moves from leading yourself, to serving faithfully, leading others, developing leaders, and ultimately multiplying beyond yourself.

The Seven Paths

The Way of the Rhino is lived through Seven Paths:

• 🛡️ King’s Camp — Culture, character, worldview, identity, and Christian hope.

• 💪 Armory — Strength, fitness, resilience, mobility, and physical readiness.

• 📚 Scriptorium — Reading, wisdom, learning, and lifelong intellectual growth.

• ⚔️ Sword — Scripture memorization and the internalization of God’s Word.

• 📖 Belt — Bible reading, biblical literacy, and understanding the story of God.

• 🙏 Watchtower — Prayer, worship, intercession, vigilance, and dependence on God.

• 🤝 Chief’s Council — Followership, service, leadership, stewardship, mentorship, and multiplication.

Together, these Paths form a rhythm of lifelong growth.

The Proving Ground

Rhino Martial Arts is the primary Proving Ground of the Rhinovolution.

Training gives students a place to practice courage, humility, perseverance, self-control, discipline, leadership, and responsibility under pressure.

Through challenge, correction, repetition, partnership, and increasing responsibility, students learn to put their values into action.

Those lessons then travel with them into their homes, schools, churches, workplaces, relationships, and communities.

A Lifelong Way

The Way of the Rhino is a lifelong practice of becoming.

• We train.

• We study Scripture.

• We build strength.

• We grow in wisdom.

• We develop character.

• We accept greater responsibility.

• We serve and develop others.

The goal is to form Warriors in Christ and Ambassadors of His Kingdom—people whose strength is governed by love, whose capability is governed by responsibility, and whose leadership is expressed through service.

Biblical Foundation

Ephesians 6:10–18 (MEV)

10 Finally, my brothers, be strong in the Lord and in the power of His might. 11 Put on the whole armor of God that you may be able to stand against the schemes of the devil. 12 For our fight is not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, and against spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly places. 13 Therefore take up the whole armor of God that you may be able to resist in the evil day, and having done all, to stand. 14 Stand therefore, having your waist girded with truth, having put on the breastplate of righteousness, 15 having your feet fitted with the readiness of the gospel of peace, 16 and above all, taking the shield of faith, with which you will be able to extinguish all the fiery arrows of the evil one. 17 Take the helmet of salvation and the sword of the Spirit, which is the word of God. 18 Pray in the Spirit always with all kinds of prayer and supplication. To that end be alert with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints.
